Biographical information:

May be this Jaime but the sources do not overlap. Furthermore Dateas shows two Jaime Chervins with birthdates approx. 1922, 1924 and distinct I.D. numbers 20-01903651-1 and 20-02453129-6.

Immigrated to Colonia Dora in Argentina alone, very young, where he lived with his father Isaac, his stepmother, and his cousins Zenon and Samuel.

An important point, transmitted by Catalina Chervin:

I don't remember their [Zenon, Samuel] father's name, but my father always told me that he was really important for the family, beause his house was the first established in Argentina, and was the entry point for the others.

According to our earlier information, the "cousins" Isaac, Yudl, Salel, Sneier, Jaime, Zenon, and Samuel immigrated to Argentina to the following locations:

Our principal information to date concerns the line descended from Isaac and Jaime.

Gil Arazi writes from Israel:

My ancestors moved from the Ukraine to Argentina at the beginning of the 20th century. My grandmother's uncle - Chaim Chervin - was a famouse Eye Doctor in Argentina.

There is a burial record for a Jaime Chervin born August 9, 1924 and died May 27, 2002, in Berazategui Cemetery, Buenos Aires. Dateas shows two possible matches for Jaime Chervin, one born ca. 1922 and one born ca. 1924 (and having different national i.d.).
