Born Leib Ocherediansky in Kiev gubernia (not necessarily the city of Kiev). He married Sarah Zaslovsky on 31 Oct 1920 in Russia (according to his grandson).
They came to the United States on the boat Byron from Constanta, Romania, leaving Oct 26 1924 and arriving New York on Nov 1, 1923. His last European residence was listsed as Bucarest, Romania and he came with his wife Sonie and his 8 month old daughter Doba, They came to be with his cousin Israel Koplow. Israel Koplow married Rose Saslavsky, so they were related to Louis' wife, not to him.
Louis died 29 Nov 1987 in Mayfield Heights, Cuyahoga, Ohio.
