Name given as Tserlin.
Address: Dolgorukovskaia Street, Novozybkov, in the province of Chernigov.
In the beginning of April, 1907 the police learned of the a plan by robbers to sack his house on April 20. The police prepared an ambush and arrested a band including anarchist-communists and the military group of the social-revolutionaries.

Arrived in the settlement of Rzhishchev, from Kiev. A member of an anarchist-communist party. Going to pass examinations for the six years of the gymnasium (high school) course. I understand by this a graduation examination. He came to Kiev because his tutor was a student at the Kiev Polytechnic University. Nothing reprehensible was noticed in his behavior.
I believe this means that he was from Rzhishchev and came to Kiev to prepare for his examinations. This report appears to coincide with his return to Rzhishchev as far as I can make out.

A meeting of the local Jewish community took place in Novgorod at the beginning of October at the time of a notorious anti-semitic "blood libel" trial, the so-called Beilis case. A deputy was elected to present the views of the community in Kiev, where the trial was taking place, regarding the innocence of Beilis. The name of the deputy is given as "Cherlin" with no further identification.
This Cherlin went to Kiev on October 12, 1913.
