Born 1922 according to Semyon Dikenstein, and ca. 1932 according to the Soviet Extraordinary Commission. Resident of Nadezhnoye, Nizhnyaya Duvanka, Voroshilovgrad, Ukraine before the war, and of Olkhovy Rog, Malchevskaya, Rostov na Donu during the war. Shot at Balabanovka on August 31, 1942. Very likely Semyon has mixed up the names.
