In 1950 Minnie was a patient at the Bella Vista Sanatorium in Springfield, PA. On March 29, 1950 an arsonist set a fire that killed nine of the patients (all men).
Note: A census search returns a record for "Minnie Cherlin" in Philadelphia in 1940, but inspection of the document shows clearly that this is one Minnie Chubin, and in addition she is the wife of Samuel Chubin.
