There are two towns called Avgustovo in Belarus, one just east of Minsk and the other about 60 miles farther to the east.
The writing on the manifest is very broad. The Cherlin could also be a Charlin and the last two letters of Schlemi are hard to read. The r in "Argustow" appears to be an error. There are two passengers listed from "Argustow", the other being Ittke Mirelovski, 17. The capital "A" is formed rather differently in both cases; the hand is quite irregular.
