Biographical information:

Tailor, Pleshchenitzy, modern Pleshchenitsa, Belarus, about 40 mi. NNE of Minsk (pop. 738 ca. 1921). Born ca. 1828. Later moved to Minsk, where his brother lived.

Chyene died, Zalman married Chaya whose daughter Gitl was about 10 years old.
