Bennett Cherlin is known from his son's marriage certificate. Bennett was deceased at the time of the marriage of his son Abram with Mire Ufland (1891). As the marriage certificate is our only source of information, we know nothing of any other children of Bennett.
Abram shows up as Abraham in the 1901 English Census along with Sirry, and we infer from the birth dates that she was Abram's mother.
Lennox, in a letter to Rabbi Gorr of Jerusalem (July 2, 1984) mentions a brother of Abram who went to America.
Lennox supplies the name Yehuda for Ben's wife, with an exclamation point.
