Abram Cherlin and his wife lived in London. After their death, the family was raised by Abram's mother until Beryl married. Then those still alive, after the ravages of WWI and the accompanying influenza epidemic, emigrated to Australia.
Our information comes from Malcolm Cherlin, who first found the web page, and from Harry Brookes, whose wife Beverly Ward was a daughter of Beryl. The Brookes' have interesting family documents and photographs.
In particular, Harry informs us that Abram's marriage certificate gives his father as Bennett Cherlin, deceased.
