Biographical information:
Born in 1900 in the Ukraine. Immigrated to Argentina with Isaac and the family after Isaac remarried, winding up in the arid lands of the north (Colonia Dora in Santiago del Estero).
As an adolescent Bernardo left his home and worked in small jobs connected with the railroad until reaching Entre Rios, where his brother Carlos was. Began immediately dealing in leather, and remained in that trade all his life. An excellent and well-liked merchant.
Had a very adventurous life. Deceased June 18, 1972. Buried in De Tablada Cemetery, 26/1060/1.
Remained married to his first wife, but recognized his children by Elba Dorote Trejo.
Original name reported to be more like Tsherwin, possibly in the form related to Chervony (reddish).
