Born Aug. 30, 1900. Married Semen January 2, 1924 in Kiev (address Pliyutokova 91-10).

The marriage certificate gives their status as clerks associated with the miner's union.

Living in Berdichev in 1926 when Vladimir was born, and in Moscow by 1932 when Leonid was born.

According to Leonid (2014) Sofya was head of the capital development division in the ministry of intermediate weight machine building (the other categories being "light" and "heavy"). This was a code name for the defense industry). She oversaw the evacuation of factories but remained in Moscow through the war and was able to assist other Tsirlin family members to return to Moscow afterward.

Died in 1974. According to Leonid, died January 17, 1974, shortly after the death of Vladimir.

Some of her descendants live in Moscow (Zolotarevsky, Tzinkov, Trunov) .
